On Tuesday, our whole school visited Lendrum Wind Farm on the Fivemiletown Mountains to find out more about wind power. We got to explore the control rooms and look at the computers that control the turbines. We even got to climb inside one of the turbines to see what it was like inside. We reckoned that even Miss Mc Rory might find the climb to the top of the ladder inside a challenge! We had a great day out and as a little present before we left, we were given our very own RES water bottles.
