As part of our Money Wise Week, our Primary 5 -7 children decided to open up a tuck shop in school. They visited the Co-Op to price items first and then had to decide upon their menu and the price list. This decided, they had to buy the items and prepare the shop each morning. All of the children in the school had a chance to buy snacks daily but had to manage their money wisely to get the best value out of their 30p. The Primary 5 -7 children had to manage their stock, ensuring they had enough for selling but without having an excess of stock at the end of the week. It was a major learning curve! However, they proved themselves as worthy business men and women, recording a profit at the end of the week! Well done!
